Sunday
morning, Vincent drove Aurora leader Jaimie and his wife Maria to their
car, trip leader Margaret to her van, and Richard to his camper so he
could return North.
Vincent came back, picked up his son Snuller, Jerry and Bonnie, and Jill
-- and split. Hester, Stephen, Pauline and I waited another four hours
for Margaret, Maria and Jaimie to return.

I killed
some time Sunday morning with a hike along the railroad tracks. Seems
the bears like it there, too!
On the
drive out, the locals in red pickup trucks glared at us so hotly that
Pauline make us laugh with stories about "stink eye."
Jaimie
told us several times to turn right at Bell Springs Road. This took us
back to Alderpoint (for no reason) and added more than an hour to the
trip home. Turning left at Bell Springs road would have put us much closer
to Dos Rios where we had left our cars.
I will avoid boating with Aurora River Adventures in the future.
